Untitled

In hues of spring
Where God sings
I want to live
In particles
In waves
Of gold and yellow
Where clouds offer occasional colors
Adding specialized light
Diffused as gentle backdrop
Against my otherwise temperate and pacific life

But I'm here
Where naked trees
Constant reminders of acquiescence
Give up color to chill and seasons
Where gray is king
And tyrant
Where the whisper of God
Is forced to limp
In howl and wind
